    HOW A WATER SOFTENER WORKS
All water softeners use the same operating principle: They trade the minerals for sodium or potassium chloride, [salt chemcials]. The process is called ion exchange.

The heart of a water softener is a mineral tank. It's filled with small polystyrene beads, also known as resin or zeolite. The beads carry a negative charge.

In normal operation, hard water moves into the mineral tank and the calcium and magnesium ions move to the beads, replacing salt ions. The salt ions go into the water.

Hard water poses no health hazard. On the other hand, the salt that remains in softened water may be a problem for those on salt- restricted diets. (Ask your doctor)

    DISADVANTAGES OF A WATER SOFTENER
  • Brine discharge can pollute our water.
  • Uses salt chemicals.
  • Reverse osmosis system often used, can breed bacteria.
  • Does not remove chemicals and other contaminants.
  • Warranty may not cover both parts and labor.
  • Can waste thousands of gallons of water annually.

How does the AMP Force Work?
The AMP Force solves the problems associated with "Hard Water" electronically, instead of the chemical processes used by water softeners. The H2O Concepts System deals with the "Hard Water" problems without the need for additional salt chemicals. By using electrical impulses the AMP Force de-crystallizes the "Hard Water" minerals, calcium and magnesium. Not only does this prevent mineral build-up but will actually remove any existing build-up.

Our Filtration System: (Not Certified for Sale in California or Iowa)
Our Whole House, mixed media filtration system (no cartridges or membranes to replace) removes chlorine and other chemical contaminants and heavy metals from all of the water in the home. Every faucet and shower in the home is a source of fresh, clean, great tasting water.

    BENEFITS OF THE AMP FORCE
  • No brine discharge.
  • No salt chemicals used.
  • No reverse osmosis system needed.
  • Removes chemicals & other contaminants.
  • 100% parts and labor warranty.

  • Fresh, Clean, Great Tasting Water At
Every Faucet and Shower in Your Home

    Myth 1:
    Reality:

    Alternative:
. R/O water is the best most cost effective drinking water for your home.
Properly treated water is far less costly.

Conditioned economical tap water available from every faucet in the home, not just at the kitchen sink.

    Myth 2:
    Reality:

    Alternative:
. R/O water is not aggressive or acidic.
R/O systems will drastically lower the pH value of the water. A pH value below 7 is acidic. The normal pH of Phoenix/Las Vegas area water is approximately 7.8 - the pH value of most R/O processed water will be between 4 and 6 (very acidic).

The pH value of H2O Concepts treated water is 7.6 to 7.7 - (assumes a 7.8 input pH value)

    Myth 3:
    Reality:

    Alternative:
. R/O units do not waste water.
R/O units "reject" up to 4 gallons of water (down the drain) for each gallon of drinking water filtered.

H2O Concepts water treatment systems do not "reject" water.

    Myth 4:
    Reality:

    Alternative:
. Little or no maintenance required for R/O equipment.
Every R/O requires regular filter cartridge replacements and membrane replacements. (Approximate cost is $150.00 annually)

H2O Concepts Systems do not contain filter cartridges or membranes and therefore does not require these scheduled maintenances.

    Myth 5:
    Reality:

    Alternative:
. R/O water is healthy water.
R/O units create water that is acidic - bodily fluids are alkaline - R/O water is devoid of minerals.

(Not Certified for Sale in California or Iowa)
    H2O Concepts Systems
remove the potentially harmful chemicals and heavy metals, yet retains the minerals that the body needs. H2O Concepts Systems maintain the alkaline pH of the water to better coincide with the alkaline pH of all bodily fluids.
