The AMP Force uses electronic pulses to break the calcium bicarbonate and the magnesium bicarbonate into a water soluble, non-adherent form of calcium and magnesium carbonate. In the soluble state these two minerals cannot adhere to the inner surfaces of the pipes or fixtures.

Since the crystalline form of the bicarbonate is permanently changed in the process, residue left behind when water is allowed to evaporate on surfaces like sink decks, faucets, or glass is easily removed with a damp paper towel or cloth. The life of all water using appliances will be extended as a result of the lack of scale in areas like pump impellers and pipes. The AMP Force will also descale any existing buildup over time.
The picture on the left in figure 1 shows a Calcium bicarbonate crystal under an electron microscope. You can see from the structure how the crystals will attach to the inner walls of the plumbing and other surfaces and to each other.
The picture on the left in figure 2 shows the structure of Calcium Carbonate. You will note that the crystal has been destroyed. From the picture in figure 2 you can see why there is drastically less adherence to surfaces as compared to the picture in figure 1.
Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Carbonate, in their soluble state, are now bio-available or bio-accessible. The body can now absorb them and use them. We all know the calcium is good for bones and the magnesium is good for the heart. By introducing the electrical impulses to the water we greatly reduce the "hard water" problems. The agents causing the "hard water" problems have become a positive rather than a negative. In this way we can benefit twice from the same process.
